Author of two dozen books\, he won several awards for his work\, including the “Prix Marianne 2015”\, with “The scary Doctor Petiot — crazy or guilty?”\, “Prix Therouanne 1982”\, with “De par le Roy: Essay on stamp letters”\, and “Prix Therouanne 1989”(silver medal) for La Bastille. His book “Le Mal de Naples: histoire de la syphilis”\, Editions Seghers (Paris\, 1986) is a rare work that deserves all our applause.
